Pink Pony West Reading Series/Poetz.com
The PPW series takes its name from the funky Ludlow Street caf? where it began in 1999, operating there for just over a year before the stage space was converted to a cocktail lounge. Guardian angel Angelo Verga of the Cornelia Street Caf? promptly welcome the displaced series and ?West? was added to ?The Pink Pony? when the reading moved in that direction on 1/19/01. Friday nights cost $6 at the door and your first drink is free. Poetz.com hosts the New York City Poetry Calendar and is your source for readings throughout the city.
